Biography
Erin (Ferris) Weller, a life long resident of Portland, joined Hoort Law, PLLC in 2009 as an associate attorney.
Erin Weller's undergraduate degree is in Social Relations from Michigan State University’s James Madison College, and her law degree is from Michigan State University College of Law.
Ms. Weller is very thorough and meticulous in her approach to cases. She has an excellent win/loss record with her criminal jury trials. And, the skills she obtained when working for the Michigan Supreme Court Friend of the Court Bureau have given her the expertise to successfully help parents with their custody, parenting and child support disputes. Ms. Weller is also experienced in will and trust drafting as well as landlord/tenant disputes.
Ms. Weller has presented seminars on estate planning, social security disability and asset protection planning and she was selected to present a summary of gun laws at the “NRA Basic Personal Protection in the Home” course.
In her spare time, Ms. Weller volunteers as a cheerleading coach for the Junior Raider cheer team, the Portland Middle School competitive cheer team and most recently the Portland Varsity cheer team.
