While he gave some good advice, I didn't feel that he thoroughly listened to my concerns. He was twenty minutes late to my appointment, his office was in desperate need of a cleaning, his secretary was wearing a shirt that bared her midriff, and he waltzed in wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. I sought his legal advice as I had been raped and abused in a previous relationship, and currently am incredibly concerned for my safety. Yet the entire time I spoke to him his eyes were on my chest. When I inquired about the process for a PPO, he told me to get a gun, lean in if my ex ever came near me so I could show police bruises, and just move on with my life because I have no reason to be in contact with him. (Exactly! That's why I need help from the law to tell him that!) Needless to say I will be seeking further counsel from other attorneys.
