What makes Jim different is that he genuinely cares. I’ve had court-appointed attorneys in the past who wouldn’t even return a call—it was night and day compared to the dedication Jim showed. I fired Mr. Metz after I realize that his representation of me was sloppy and ineffective. I I originally hired him for a third offense DWI that there was ample evidence that I was not even driving. Metz would not discuss case law with me and dismissed it with a condescending attitude of he knew best.... After two appearances in front of the judge where I was totally ill prepared by attorney Metz and given faulty advice I fired him. I hired a different attorney and the charges were promptly dismiss due to caselaw. The best decision I made was to fire Metz. He also stated to me in writing on two different occasions that I would receive a refund and six months later no refund. From my experiences I strongly advise you to not hire this attorney.
