Biography
Carmencita Fulgado-Taylor was born and raised in Queens, New York. She graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. She also has her M.A. and B.A. in English and is a cum laude graduate of St. John’s University. She is admitted to the state bars of New York and Michigan.
Before moving to Michigan in April 2013, she was the Staff Attorney at Brooklyn Housing and Family Services in New York, a non-profit organization committed to protecting families and preventing homelessness.
Carmencita enjoys running and has ran the New York City Marathon three times. She is married to Neil Taylor and they live in Holt, Michigan. They are excited for the arrival of their first child in December 2015.
