Alan A. Crawford

Alan Crawford will fight for you until the very end! I found him to be very professional and respectful. He is good at communicating and setting reasonable expectations—he won't promise the moon if he doesn't think it's possible. I liked that he was very easy to reach when I needed to speak with him ...(which is rare with super busy attorneys), and you can tell that he cares about the people he represents. I would highly recommend him — especially for federal cases.

To say that I "lucked out" by getting Mr. Crawford as my public defender is a great understatement. I know for certain that I could not have afforded a better attorney. He treated me with respect, he always returned my text messages and phone calls, and he was always polite and thorough when answerin...g my endless questions. He was always thorough and patient with me, and I always had the impression that he was doing more than what any other public defender would have been doing for me in my situation. In other words, HE CARED about what happened to me. He cared about my family, and his counsel and actions reflected as much. Although my outcome did not come out the way I had hoped it would, that wasn't his fault — that was my fault! I really believe the outcome would have been SO much worse for me if he hadn't been in my corner fighting for me. I am very, very thankful for his expertise and professionalism. On a side note, it gives me hope in our legal system to meet attorneys like Alan who are willing to go the extra mile for the little guy. And I think in today's political climate, that's saying something. with a good sense of humor when it was called for.
