I hired Richard Ebbott based upon a recommendation from someone at work. It was a simple divorce and Richard Ebbott said no problem I do these all the time. He then promised me a big settlement but it never happened. In fact I ended up having to pay my x husband almost everything I had at the time. A...nd my x got custody of the kids. I met attorney Ebbott a few years ago. He told me everything I needed to hear up front and he is very convincing. It was a simple contract matter he said he could settle quickly. Boy oh boy after I paid him he just disappeared. I met him in court and the judge threw the case out and said I owed... over $199,000 dollars. I was shocked. I called Richard several times over the next 6 months and he never returned my call. I was shocked and I am very disappointed with the service I received.
