I hired Lisa in the middle of a very lengthy and ugly custody case, which im sure most lawyers would run from. I had previously hired an attorney that was very expensive but seemed very professional. Within time i realized it was if she didnt listen to anything i said, and really didnt stand up for m...e in the court room, instead she was just showing up like anyone else. I think itd be important for me to explain the situation i was in so better to understand how much lisa changed my case around instantly. In short, my ex husband had filed for full custody after never previously being around during our marriage on the terms of my need for medications prescribed by a doctor for different medical conditions. My ex labled me as a drug addict and unfit. Before i hired lisa i had been drug testing every couple days to prove what i was taking, for a year and ahalf. He also petitioned that i could not drive with my son in the car due to the medications. He then moved 30 minutes away and enrolled my son in school for head start before preschool before i had any knowledge of it. For a year and a half of testing, having to find help for transportation i was perfectly capable of i had grown tired of my case not coming to an end and realization of no wrong doing on my end. I met with lisa and immediately was blown away by her knowledge in law and quick reaction on how to end it quickly along with being able to fight back. The first time at my side in court she was very respectfully aggressive, and left my ex husbands lawyer speechless on many occassions, things changed immediately, and after hearing the judge tell everyone on record that he had mass amount of respect for lisa i knew things were going to get better. Lisa kept me informed every step of the way on what to expect, her course of action, and the expected outcome. I never felt like it was a stiff business transaction, lisa was someone you could talk to, she actually cared and actually showed me that she was there for me and my son and not for monetary gain. By the next court appearance, she spoke with my exs attorney and next thing i knew my ex and i were in the judges chambers and he was telling my ex itd be in his best interest to drop the case. Without explanation furthermore, case was dropped, lisa left me speechless and in tears after speaking with her, and my life went back to normal. Lisa is a real person to talk to and trust. She isnt just a stiff business partner. She put her heart and soul in my case and ultimately made it all worth it. In the judges words shes a very respected lawyer, she seemed to quote laws and terms of action without though, she left the other lawyer speechless and confused after believing he had this case in the bag, and i would and will reccomend her to any stranger, friend, or family member as well as continue to call her myself if needed in the future.
