Yes each account can bring suit. Perhaps your spouse just ignores the judgment until he is back to work, or he (and you) could file bankruptcy.

I claimed Chapter 7 bankrupctcy. That stopped foreclosure. Does the debt have to be re affirmed (mortgage) when its cleared?
