I obtained my undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University receiving a Bachelor's Degree in the Legal Assistant Program. After working as a legal secretary for five years, I decided to return to further my education.
While continuing my employment as a legal secretary. I attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School. I was involved in the Law Review and had an internship at the Michigan Court of Appeals.
After graduation and passing the bar, I was able to immediately begin employment as an attorney to a Probate Court Judge. In the past 13 years, I have worked in various areas of law including insurance litigation, automobile negligence and personal injury, and probate. To date, our firm has been able to expand our areas of practice to a majority of family law, probate litigation and property issues.

She does not care about your case
She didn’t even talk to me before court, didn’t reply to my emails appropriately, missed the first hearing and last one to show in court on the second. And when you ask her to call she doesn’t and after i filed a claim to he she said she had other cases, but the first thing she does is send you a bi...

Poor Communication and Absurd Charges
Communication is extremely poor. It is impossible to know what is going on and how to respond when you are never copied on her communication with the opposing attorney even when you ask her to. Advice consists of only a few words that are useless. Her charges are outrageous. Emails to her cost a for...

Crook
This woman ruined my case and I lost custody of my son because she rushed me to sign something I should never had signed while working giving me 10 minutes to decide my future with my son. She then stole my deposit making up ridiculous fees like 115 for signing a paper. Her communication is horrible ...

Recommendation for Maggie Terrasi
I enjoy working with Maggie and am glad I hired her to help me out with settling my Dad's Estate. She has been friendly, knowledgeable, a go-getter, and represented me in court very well. I would highly recommend her. She has and does a fantastic job for me.

Responsive and listens
She is fantastic. You won’t regret hiring her. She represented me in Wayne county.
"I have known Maggie for years. Maggie and I worked together on a highly contested family law/guardianship matter. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her. Throughout the drawn-out case, I had complete confidence not only in her grasp of the law, but her ability to see through to the practical issues/solutions which would be in the client's best interest. I would definitely trust her to handle client matters in the future if I am not able to represent the client myself."
