I met with David Kramer regarding a case that was frightening, and stressful. He immediately put me at ease at his office. We discussed my case, free of charge for the consultation. I found him to be very professional, yet I could see he was caring, and a man of strong faith, which for me was also a ...comfort. Though of course he could make no promises about what my outcome would be, it was evident that he was knowledgeable about my type of case, and possessed a keen sense of what I could expect when I went before the Judge. I appreciated that, as I have met with previous attorneys that were so vague during the consultation, that I would leave feeling more confused than before I went in. When it came time to appear in court, I was overjoyed to learn that he was able to get my charges greatly reduced. I realized that this was because of relationships that he had forged with key people in that district court. Most importantly, the prosecutor and the judge. I also learned that after I left the courtroom, he went into the judges chambers and put in a good word for me with the judge, regarding my character and unique situation. I am more than happy with how things turned out for me, because things could have been much, much worse. When Mr. Kramer was hired, I was almost 6 months deep into fighting with my ex-wife over custody and other family court matters. All of this started almost a year after the divorce was final on paper, however, between my ex and I, the divorce was final a year before that. Finally after 9 months of of...ficial divorce, and things going relatively well, the crazy came out. From out of left field I was served with a PPO which stated some very untrue, but very disgusting allegations. My parenting time was suspended, despite 50/50 custody and our sons healthy relationship with both parents. She had accomplished this all ex-parte (without me there to defend myself, Michigan is very much a mother state) by going in to court, crying, batting her eyes, and playing games with the courts, the police, and my family. Shortly after, I had 50% resolved parenting time issues. That's when she became vindictive. She had half the city police at my home because of her calls to them (on a day we hadn't even spoke to each other), stating I was intoxicated, armed, disgruntled, a danger to myself and others, etc. They showed up while I was having a pleasant lunch with my sweet old mother. They found none of it to be true, and reported that on the official report. This kind of stuff went on and on and on. Despite the PPO she would threaten custody battles if I didn't come over and pick up my son or facilitate her needs. I tell you my personal accounts for you to have an idea of where I was at when I hired Mr. Kramer and to qualify what he has done for me. For 6 months, court date after court date, I had gained no traction and ended farther behind, I had used sub par attorneys which led me to representing myself. Finally after a breaking point, I began reviewing lawyers locally. Mr. Kramer came highly recommended and I consulted with and hired him. The first court appearance he represented me on was the first court appearance of the many I had the 6 months prior, in which I actually slept the night prior and didn't stay up putting together what I knew were the facts with supporting evidence. Once we met and reviewed my case, and I handed off all the text messages, phone calls, and inaccuracies in her story, he explained how he would use them and what we were going to do. I slept great that night, woke up refreshed and ready for court. That is a great testimony in its self, but I will elaborate more. Mr. Kramer accommodated my busy schedule, meeting me on weekends. He was passionate about my case and the effects it was having on myself and my son. He effectively communicated to the judge what was currently going on and what has gone on the months prior with my ex's actions. It was the first time my side of the story was ever considered in that courtroom. Mr. Kramer leveraged his powerful litigation skills, showing the court what my ex was actually doing and uncovering the lies she had slandered me with. His very respectable reputation built from OVER 2 DECADES of passionately serving his clients and fighting for what is right was an incredible assistance in all of this. His relationship with the judge, and how the judge respected and admired Mr. Kramer made conveying facts and important points relatively effortless for Mr. Kramer. Due to his reputation he is listened to and heard. He had also brought in a partner to assist me in a different court, which was fall out from this mess. He knew his partners strengths and utilized them to help me come out unscathed there too. Had I hired Mr. Kramer many months before, I would have seen resolution to this much, much earlier and with more money in my pocket. As the first 6 months was just a waste. No, even worse, it was a detriment to which I needed Mr. Kramer to recover me from. Don't make my mistakes, don't price shop, don't do it yourself. Pay for quality, Pay once, and with Attorney David Kramer's performance, I would consider him a great bargain
