About Lise
Biography
Lise Spresser focuses her entire practice on all aspects of family law representing clients seeking divorce, change of domicile, child and spousal support modifications, changes to child custody and parenting time arrangements. Her goal is to educate, support and passionately advocate for her clients so as to help them navigate through the difficult legal process and ultimately achieve their goals.
Lise is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and she practices predominantly in the counties of Oakland, Lapeer, Macomb, Genesee and Wayne.
Lise has been recognized as a Top Lawyer in the field of Family Law by dbusiness and was ranked one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in Michigan by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. She has also received awards from Lawyers of Distinction and The Best Lawyers in America.
Lise recognizes the importance of continuing education in this ever-evolving area of law. She guest lectures for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and she attends a multitude of advanced level training seminars to stay on the cutting edge in her field.
She served as a member of the Oakland County Citizens Advisory Committee and she gives back to the community as a Fellow of the Oakland County Bar Association. She has also handled a number of pro bono matters for low-income clients through the Oakland Family Law Assistance Program.
Lise graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, where she received top accolades in the Legal Studies Program. Lise earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and she continues to support her alma mater by volunteering as a judge for student moot court competitions, sharing her expertise in the adversarial court environment.
