I recently had a very stressful unemployment hearing and I had Edith Willenbrecht as my attorney. She was excellent. She always responded to any email I sent, was very well prepared and knowledgeable. She made me feel as though no question was a dumb question and answered every one. I was lucky to find Edith Willenbrecht on page 6 of the 8 page list of advocates MUIA provided for my Appeal. Edith exceeded all exceptions, even succeeded in renewing my faith in attorneys :-) Edith deserves to be at the the very top of the list, based on her demonstrated knowledge, experience, d...iligence, preparations, determination, and professional attitude to help me win in a bureaucracy terribly rigged against citizens (allegedly to deny paying out $ benefits and keep unemployment reporting numbers down). Edith contacted me promptly and accepted my case just 3 days prior to hearing. She prompted me for documents related to MUIA's allegations, reviewed all evidence for a vigorous defense, prepared exhibits for submission to the judge, thoroughly coached me day before and day of the hearing. MUIA waited 3 weeks before notifying I was being wrongfully denied benefits. Now MUIA's Administrative Judge will now delay 2 more weeks following today's hearing before we hear his ruling. I remain optimistic, thanks to Edith Willenbrecht and a job well done.

Edith did an absolute terrific job in representing me in my complicated unemployment case. I hired Edith for a child support custody hearing. Let me say first & foremost that she is one of the most disorganized people I have ever met....for a lawyer that's not to reassuring. However she was really nice & reassured me we were going to be ok. My ex-wives lawyer subpoena my paychecks from ...my employer and saw how much I made. Edith told me we could do the same, and find out how much my ex-wife was actually making.....problem is she never did. Unfortunately her lawyers were prepared, while Edith was not. Let's just say by the end of it I even had to pay a portion of my ex-wife's lawyers, and I lost time with my kids. Edith didn't argue a thing, if anything she agreed with whatever they were asking for. Edith seems like a non-confrontational person, and for that I got screwed. I'm out a lot of money, she didn't argue anything that we spoke about. She basically sided with the other party. I would NEVER hire Edith, if you're thinking about hiring her just really do more research. I wish I would've.
