Amale Knox

I had spent more than 2 years applying for Social security disabilty with the help of UNUM the disability company my employer used, towards the end of the 2 years the associate I had been working with kind of vanished and Amale was assigned to help me through the hearing, I was nervous having someone... new after so long, but she was a blessing, the first time I spoke with her, she put me at ease by knowing my case, she had definitely reviewed my case and knew it well before contacting me. She was so kind and gave me all the time I needed to ask questions, I felt she really cared about me and my case. She walked me through the process of the hearing and it was exactly as she stated it would be and I was awarded my Social Security Disabilty. While going through all the hoops of my disability, my husband had two strokes and could no longer work. I asked Amale if she could help me with my husband's Social Security disability, as he had been self-employed and didn't have disability insurance. She was great at helping my husband who has a hard time retaining anything new since the strokes, she reviewed his case with him a number of times and walked him through what would happen the day of his hearing, she even called him the night before to go over everything again and met us early before court in case he needed help remembering anything.
