I called Sam Bernstein after drunk driver hit us, they had a lawyer call me from another office in Traverse City I believe (Im assuming my case wasn't BIG enough for them, the firm in TC called me asked a couple questions, the first question was "did I get hit by a semi truck!" I was told I didn't h...ave a case because I didn't have enough injury. Just want Sam Bernstein to know that it is almost 2 years come Nov 19 2022 I have received $67000.00 from my case thanks to JTrucks contacting me within 5 minutes of my email request, they were great very committed very attentive THEY got the job done! So had I not looked for a 2nd lawyer I would have not recieved any monetary funds for my injuries!! I watch their fake commercials and had to write this experience for my peace of mind...

Hired Bernstein law. Directed to Rothstein Law for disability case. Rothstein attorney, knowing I had a strong case, (rather than advising me to take on and file myself and see if I get denied first, then have them represent me) they still had me sign the agreement for representation at the get go. O...f course they wanted to sign me on it was a strong case! Easy money for them. (Most people are led to believe that getting disability is a process a person can not achieve on their own). Rothstein Law knew I had a strong case. Yet they filed my case and that’s all they did. I did all the work. Faxing medical information, responding to all of SS disability requests. Interviews, collecting information. Rothstein did nothing. Rothstein Law most likely did not spend more than 30 minutes and 2 faxes at most. Yet my case was approved in 3 months due to my hard work and the wonderful people at SS Offices. Rothstein took the $7500 for doing 30 minutes of work. Sure shows how this branch of Sam Bernstein - Rothstein Law lacks integrity and professionalism. I reached out to Rothstein to discuss this and of course they won’t part with any of the $7500 (for doing 30 minutes of work - faxing a few documents). During the conversation with M Rothstein I mentioned “of course your in business to make money”. Her response “no we are here to help people”. Really? After 2 years of struggling financially because of a disablement”, I get awarded easily and they take $7500 for doing next to nothing but file my case. My advice- file first on your own. Steer clear of this attorney.

they are too big and your only going to get action if your getting a Huge settlement. I always had to call them then it took forever for response, then the settlement wasnt much at all and I had surgery. My friend had a dog bit and got more then I did (no surgery) My check was suppose to come, wait...ed and they thought they already sent it out! Really your professional. Talked on the phone with my attorney, he talked about other things besides my case, maybe to keep me on the phone to charge me more?

Hired them in Oct, 2012. An offer was made in Aug, 2014. We told them to accept. Heard nothing for a couple of months. Then we learned the offer had been rejected. We fired them. In Feb, 2015 we were supposed to meet with the judge & defense attorney. A representative from Bernstein showed up & was ...allowed to meet with the defense & judge without us, even though they had been fired 3 myths earlier! The judge was rude & arrogant. We were able to hire another attorney. Sadly a new attorney has to split the fee with the old attorney. This firm does not care about the client; only lining their own greedy pockets. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM! GREEDY, MONEY HUNGRY!!
