Contacted their firm after an accident and just asked if it was something that could help me during a time I was waiting for my I surface company to help out. They took the case and after two years settled for a ridiculous amount. I wasted my time and will never refer anyone to this company. They ...take a third of the money and God forbid you forget anything during a deposition they will never stand behind you.

I hired the Bernstein Law Firm on my mothers behalf after she was hit by an uninsured driver. She suffered a head injury, then 2 days later a massive stroke. It became necessary for me to become her legal guardian and conservator due to impairments. Not being familiar with Michigans No Fault p...olicy was difficult to understand, thus why I hired this firm. The 1st year staff, especially Alexa Knauss was very helpful and kept me up to date on things. My mom required 24 hr supervision, she ended up getting settlement per say. Almost 100% of auto policy injury amount. Of course the Law Firm takes 33% of that! No million dollar payouts, insurance to pay for doctor visits and attendant care and that's all. I don't know if results would have been different with another firm as this was the first time to file a suit.

In the initial consultation we were told , it wouldn't take longer than a year, an obvious case of negligence, it will never go to court. Now 4 years after my Grandaughters injury we are told there will be no settlement, the big insurance company isn't paying a penny, there's no proof of negligence.... I'm so disgusted that we wasted or time with this law firm, they seemed very unprofessional, during our depositions, members of the law firm were barging in the room to shake hands with the defendants attorney , how unprofessional!!!! please during a private deposition!!!!!
