Jon has successfully represented clients in matters before the United States District Court, Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Public Service Commission, and various courts throughout the State of Michigan. He is a member of the Family Law and General Practice sections of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association. Jon was awarded a Certificate of Completion in the area of Family Law issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Jon has extensive experience representing clients in criminal matters (felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, traffic), general civil litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, collection cases, family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, paternity and adoption cases, bankruptcy, unemployment and discrimination cases.
Jon is a graduate of South Lyon High School (`88), Central Michigan University (`93) and the University of Toledo College of Law (`97). While at the University of Toledo College of Law he worked as an intern for the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Toledo Public Defenders Office.
