Oana Marina is an example of professionalism and dedication to help her clients in the most efficient and caring way possible. I came to the USA as a Fulbright fellow in 2000 and was subjected to the two-year home residency requirement before being able to apply for a marriage-based green card. After... years and years of trying, I had almost lost hope, until I met Oana. She was able to turn an almost impossible task into a J-1 waiver approval and then a green card, save my family, give our little boy the constant presence of his mother and my students an equally dedicated professor. She made a difference in the lives of so many people! She was able to demonstrate that the world has changed and we must change with it, that we are now able to use online technology to our advantage and help the colleagues from the country we came from, in the spirit of the Fulbright mission and promise we made, without being physically present in our home countries and destroying our family lives here. In my opinion, this was innovative. Oana puts her heart in everything she does, has the courage to walk the path that she believes in, and is an inspiration to those around her. My family will be forever grateful to her for the courage to take our case, walk us through the fight and win.
