To start off I retained Mr. Rich from another attorney, he charged me 2k as a retainer barely updated me I had to reach out to get them and was obviously charged his hourly fee to do exactly that and when I ran out of money on the retainer which somehow was eaten up by one call he requested another $...2000 which I had given even if it was my last, I was told that we were close to getting what I needed and if he didn’t use up all the money with his time I would get refunded he even told me that he has a previous client who had gotten a refund because he didn’t use it all so with my last amount of money I gave him the $2.000. Now I’m pretty good at math and if I gave him $2000 and his hourly rate is $300 and what he told me was he went on the country website and all he needed to do was download the pdf and send it to me that is not $2,000 worth of work. On top of all of this I sent him multiple emails and called multiple times just to leave multiple voicemails I’d say this man it dodging me and does not want to give me a refund. I’d think twice about retaining him once he has your money and he’s felt like he’s worked for it when he hasn’t you won’t get your time money back. The crazy part is he told me his wife does probate cases and I let him know in some months I’m going to need her help with a lot of things and now I’m 100% not going to be doing that .
