Mark C. Klein

Mark Klein focuses his practice on business and intellectual property litigation.

Mark previously gained invaluable experience in government policy and legislative affairs. As a legislative aide in the Michigan House of Representatives, he advised the Chair of the Michigan Committee on Ways & Means and the Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee for School Aid. Mark also played a key role in drafting Michigan’s recent statutes protecting athletes’ name, image, and likeness rights, and he spearheaded a nationwide amicus brief effort for a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case.

Mark recently received a commission as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer with the Michigan National Guard, reflecting his commitment to public service.

Mark thrives on the intellectual challenge and creative problem-solving that litigation demands. One of the most rewarding parts of his work is the opportunity to build strong client relationships and to advocate for their businesses and professionals.

In his free time, Mark can be found on the golf course or on the tennis courts. He enjoys watching Detroit sports and cheering on his alma mater, Michigan State.

Mark is licensed in Michigan and Indiana.
