I contacted Linnell & Associates in regards to a property line dispute involving a fence. Prior to speaking with Rick I was convinced that the matter would only be resolved through legal action. During my initial consultation, Rick provided sound practical advice which I was able to apply and resolve... the matter directly with the other property owner. Even though the initial consultation was free I felt so appreciative of the time that Rick spent with me and the advice he provided that I contacted him to see how I could pay him for his time spent coaching me. He declined my offer and said he was happy to have been of help and was glad my matter had been resolved without having to retain the services of his firm. Wow! what a great guy! We contacted Rick about an easement request/demand from Consumers Energy. Consumers sent us a rough drawing and asked us to sign it in 24 hours and send back. With no consideration to our shed, trees, and septic field that would be affected by their boring through our yard. He reviewed the documen...t and gave us advice on how to talk to Consumers. Very professional and our bill was about 1/4 of what I expected. I recommend Richard Linnell for all your real estate needs.
