Seemed friendly and competent at first - until they already had their retainer. Then Rick went out of town for two weeks - which is fine in and of itself - but didn't provide me, now a paying client, any notice that was his plan. An associate attorney then took over my case and didn't give me the imp...ression I was in competent hands. After having to explain myself all over again (this time while they're accruing costs) the response I got was almost embarrassing for a law firm claiming to specialize in real estate. In the end I feel I could have googled or used legal zoom to fit my needs and that my desire to make sure things were done properly has only cost me a lot of money. On two separate occasions I have complained and specifically requested Rick himself give me a call to discuss the problems I was having with his firm - to this day I haven't spoken with Rick since he had my money in a signed retainer.
