I had fallen at work and had quite a complicated case for workers comp. Mark Pimlott litigated my case and was just absolutely wonderful. I could always contact him by e-mail and by phone call and he could always help me with anything I needed. His attention to detail was very good, as was his unders...tanding of my situation and what I was going through. Mark was very knowledgeable, and if he couldn't answer a question right off the bat, he got right back to me with an answer in an timely manner. And he was always kind and personable. I was extremely happy with the settlement Mark got me. The first settlement offer was so low that it wasn't even enough to pay back my long term disability. But Mark negotiated that I don't have to pay back my long term disability out of my lump sum - plus he got some of my expenses covered that workers comp didn't initially want to pay. But Mark was on top of my case and the adjuster to get it settled, because time was of the essence. The whole time, Mark was very respectful, knowledgeable and comforting. He helped me relax during the court proceeding, and I knew he was proud of me when I took the stand and told the judge there were many outstanding bills, probably over $20,000 worth. Mark made what would have been a stressful experience doable because of the way he prepared me. Mark was especially on top of explaining what to expect and calling me back immediately – if he had news to share or if I had a question that needed to be answered. I just think he did a wonderful job with my case. I just can't say enough good things about Mark. I am so happy with him and the settlement he got for me. A lot of lawyers will take 30% of your settlement or charge an outrageous fee before you even come in. But these guys work for you. They don't take a big chunk of your settlement and they only get paid if you do. I highly recommend Mark because I trust him. I would trust him to take care of my family and friends' person business if they needed any kind of legal help.

Mr. Pimlott spent many years representing insurance companies and doesn't appear to have made the transition to being on the same side as employees in workers' comp cases. In our initial discussion, he sided with insurers on every point. His advice was not helpful. I didn't hire Mr. Pimlott as he fai...led to show compassion for an injured worker and didn't show any evidence of wanting to help me. If fact, it drove me to another firm, where the attorney provided great advice and direction. I was happy with my final choice.
