William K. Cashen

William K. Cashen has been practicing for over 27 years in the areas of business, real estate and probate/trust litigation, transactions and administration.  Practice includes business formation, business disputes, shareholder litigation, Will contests, Trust litigation, removal of trustees and breach of duty and estate administration, and real estate transactions, condominiums and litigation.  Mr. Cashen has practiced in several Michigan courts, including  Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, St. Clair, Sanilac  and Genesee Counties, the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court as well as Federal Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinatti Ohio.  Mr. Cashen graduated from Michigan State University in 1983 and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from The Detroit College of Law, now the Michigan State University Law School, in 1986 and has been in private practice ever since.  In 1993 Mr. Cashden and attorney Donald M. Strehl formed the firm of Cashen & Strehl.  Donald M. Strehl is a Macomb County Public Administrator for Probate estates and has extensive experience in Estate Planning and Probate/Trust Administration.
