Amazing Attorney

I retained Mr. Robbins to represent me in my complicated divorce. We had issues regarding custody, parenting time, spousal support and separate property that I received when my parent's passed away. Mr. Robbins protected my children and my inheritance. Because of Mr. Robbins, I am moving forward a...fter 24 years of marriage happy and financially secure. I would never have survived this terrible process without Mr. Robbins expertise! I would (and have) told everyone I know to hire Mr. Robbins if they want a true expert and complete protection in their divorce.

After 30 years of marriage...

After 30 years of marriage, I decided to file for divorce. Expecting that I would face a lifetime of spousal support payments and wanting to minimize that to the greatest extent, I went online to find an attorney. Searching top lawyers in Oakland County, I came across reviews on Michael Robbins. H...e was highly rated and noted as one of the best. I decided to call him. In the initial consultation, Michael was direct and knew what information he needed to hear before agreeing to take my case. He was clear that he didn't take just any case. He selected each case carefully, he said. By the end of the session, I could tell he was the guy I wanted on my side. Thankfully, he agreed to represent me. He was knowledgeable, confident, serious about his work, and very professional. Michael knew the system, he knew the competition, and he knew the judges. He seemed like the kind of guy that got things done his way - and that was good for me. He had his assistant Sheri call me and coordinate with me to get all the documentation needed for filing and presenting our case. Sheri was the best! She was all business and a straight-shooter. She too, made me feel relaxed and confident that they would take care of everything. She had a great deal of experience and understood the system and its quirks. More importantly, she knew how to work through them. Early on, I knew I was in good hands. My former spouse hired an attorney who she thought could match Michael's competence and even paid a higher fee for him. She said she had to pay more because I had hired "the best" and she had to compete with that. Well, when it came time for negotiations, I have to admit that I was a bit nervous. You see, the opposing side had come in with a very high monthly spousal support figure. Much more than I thought I could pay even in my best month! As it turned out, the opposing counsel turned out to be no match for Michael and Sheri. When they came back with a proposed settlement, I was shocked. No spousal support - nada, zip, zero! How could that be? In addition to an equitable division of assets, all I had to pay was half my pension and no other income. That was all. This truly was a big win for me. Now I would be negligent if I did not mention Debbie the office manager. She is a wonderfully sweet person who always answered the phone pleasantly and professionally. She was kind and always treated me well, even when I was confused, nervous, or just being stupid. Debbie's great smile and friendly personality made me feel welcomed anytime I came to the office. Michael is a fantastic attorney, with a phenomenal assistant in Sheri, and superbly wonderful office manager in Debbie. In the end, I paid Michael a bonus on his fee because he saved me tens of thousands of dollars over the rest of my life. Til today, I am shocked with the advantageous settlement and I owe it all to choosing the right attorney and having the right attorney choose me.

Amazing and Qualified Attorney and Team

Michael Robbins and his entire team were unbelievable in their handling of my divorce. Business valuations, custody, parenting time, spousal support and more were areas they could easily provide strong and reliable counsel about that resulted in equitable and positive outcomes. Michael's reputation ...is outstanding and both he and his team are responsive and efficient. Extremely grateful

I cannot overstate how grateful I am to Mr. Robbins and his staff, particularly Sherri Bono, paralegal. He accepted my case "at the last minute" when I had been all but abandoned by another attorney who no longer responded to my calls and emails and had ignored deadlines set by the judge. The handl...ing of my divorce was swift, and professional. ALL of my calls, emails and questions were dealt with in a timely manner. Personally, I was treated with respect and kindness. My settlement was fair and equitable which is what I had hoped for. I highly recommend this lawyer and his staff.
