Gold served three terms as a Council Member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He was chair of its Family Law Journal,co-chair of its’Mid Summer Conference, and past chair of its’Continuing Legal Education committee. He is similarly active with many local and state bar, bench and interdisciplinary activities, including the Michigan Inter-Professional Associationon Marriage,Divorce and the Family and the Michigan Council for Divorce and Family Mediation. He also servesonthe planning committee for both the statewide Family Law Institute and the annual Family Law Forum.
