Daniel M. Israel

Daniel M. Israel is a Member of Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC and practices in the areas of corporate business and real estate.

Mr. Israel’s corporate practice includes representing clients in a variety of acquisition transactions including mergers, stock purchases and asset purchases. Mr. Israel also provides his clients with advice on corporate structuring issues, joint venture relationships and agreements between equity investors in a company.

Mr. Israel has a practice focus on representation of automotive dealerships. Mr. Israel’s experience in this areas includes implementing merger and acquisition transactions, financing arrangements, state and local regulatory issues and franchise issues. Mr. Israel has spoken at numerous conferences addressing automotive dealership related legal issues. Mr. Israel also has represented franchisees of franchised businesses in a variety of franchise matters.

Mr. Israel’s real estate practice includes representing clients in purchase and sale transactions as well as lease transactions.

Mr. Israel also spends a considerable amount of his practice focusing on representing private health care providers. Mr. Israel’s health care practice focuses on all aspects of the health care area including physician employment agreements, shareholder agreements, compensation agreements, hospital contracts and regulatory counseling of physician practice groups.

Mr. Israel earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1993. While there, he co-authored Preferences, Conundrums published in the Commercial Law Journal, Volume 98, Spring 1993, with James J. White, Professor of Law at the University of Michigan. Mr. Israel received his B.A. from Brown University in 1989. While at Brown University, Mr. Israel was a four year member of the Brown University Swim Team, served as co-captain in 1988 and 1989 and was the most valuable swimmer in 1989 and first team All-Ivy in 1988 and 1989. Mr. Israel has also been a Masters Swimming National Champion.

Mr. Israel is a Member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Israel currently serves on the Counselors Committee for United States Swimming.
