Anisha Desai Rutkowski

Anisha is an Attorney with the Rutkowski Law Firm.  The firm's practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Elder Law, Real Estate, and Business Law. Anisha holds a bachelor in Business Administration and graduated Magna Cum Laude from law school. Anisha served as an Editor on the Western Michigan University Cooley Law Review and was awarded the Distinguished Student Award for her law school graduating class.

Anisha has worked as a prehearing staff attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals and completed two judicial clerkships with the Michigan Supreme Court. Anisha has also worked for the Honorable Gerald E. Rosen in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Honorable Michael Warren in the Oakland County Circuit Court.

Outside the practice of law, Anisha enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children. Anisha has also used her passion for teaching while serving as an adjunct professor at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she instructed law students on advanced legal research and writing methods. She also has volunteered her time as a mentor for law students through Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s Mentor Jet program.
