Mr. Yatooma practices in all Michigan trial and appellate courts, as well as before federal courts and arbitration panels across the United States. He has been admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Michigan, as well as before the federal courts of Florida, California, Utah, and Louisiana, before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Ninth Circuit, and before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Yatooma is an active member of the Litigation, Franchise Law, Business Law, and Real Estate Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Yatooma is also a former Co-Chairman of the National Business Advisory Council.
In addition to his many professional accomplishments, Mr. Yatooma has continued to maintain his standing in the community through his involvement in many charitable organizations, including his role as Founder and President of Yatooma’s Foundation For The Kids founded in the name and memory of his late father. Mr. Yatooma also serves as Chairman and President of Charity Motors, Inc., Board Member of the Alzheimer's Association, Advisory Board Member of the Anti-Defamation League, Advisory Board Member of Oak Park Business and Education Alliance, Board Member of the Band of Angels, and Council Member of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Advisory Council. Additionally, Mr. Yatooma conducts regular public speaking engagements for various community groups, has served as a program participant on Citadel’s 760 AM radio station WJR’s “Call For Action,” and as a guest speaker/lecturer for multiple not for profit organizations.
Mr. Yatooma has represented hundreds of businesses and individuals throughout the world in both litigation and transactional work. Mr. Yatooma has litigated for and against several Fortune 500 companies and other corporate heavy weights.

As a direct result of ExxonMobil’s negligent actions as well as their violation of franchise and antitrust laws, plaintiff’s were awarded compensation for losses in the amount of $460,983.80 as well as rescission of franchisee contracts.
The case is still in progress and is scheduled to go to trial in January of 2011.
The plaintiff's won a significant binding arbitration award, including nearly $2 million in damages for breach of contract and product liability as well as declaratory relief to guide the future actions of the parties.
The judgment awarded nearly $3 million to plaintiffs - 860,000 in damages to the former gallery owners, Karen Hazlewood and Jeff Spinello, and more than $1.2 million in attorneys' fees and arbitration expenses.
Mr. Yatooma helped Hawkins reach a settlement award of $30 million in 2001.
In the end, Lynas and fellow golfers received a $6.8 million judgement on their behalf.
