A graduate of Michigan State University, and a magna cum laude graduate of the MSU Law College, Dean is a part-time professor of Aviation Law, twice elected Chairperson of the Aviation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan; Commissioner and Vice-chair of the Michigan Aeronautics Commission by appointment of Governor John Engler; maintains licensure in Michigan as a broker of aircraft and real estate; serves on the Board of Directors of Child and Family Services of Michigan, Inc., and volunteers with Operation Good Cheer.
