We were recommended David by a few friends. We were going through a case where my fiancé’s daughters mother was trying to move out of state with their daughter. David knows all of the laws and beat our case within one 15 minute court session basically leaving the defendant and her lawyer both speechl...ess. The judge 110% sided and agreed with everything that was said on our side. I would 10 out of 10 recommend.

It's pretty risky hiring an attorney over the telephone from the other end of the country. Unfortunately, that's what I had to do to gain legal representation in Michigan. But when it was all said and done, I can say Attorney David Sebastian was pretty awesome. And not just because he won on every po...int we objected to, which is a big deal, but also because of his integrity and professionalism. Every other attorney I consulted with immediately agreed to take my case as soon as I could send in the retainer fee. But David took the time to understand the details and didn't agree to take the case until he was sure I wouldn't spend more in attorney fees than he could help me win in court. He took the time to explain the applicable laws which cleared up misconceptions and any false expectations I may have had going in. Even though I was out of state - he maintained open communication. He never let it show if he was irritated with the millions of questions I would ask. He never let it show if he was annoyed with all the suggestion I gave on how I thought he should proceed. He would simply listen and then explain why it was or was not the best approach. He always returned phone calls, texts and voice mails. He truly made himself available and didn't come off as too busy for me, even though I'm sure at times he may have been. We weren't notified in enough time so I could fly out for the court hearing. But on that court day, Atty Sebastion still kept me posted about what was happening in court from start to finish. I asked him to get a fair and just ruling for my daughter's support. I asked him to show no mercy as the non-custodial parent tried to get away with paying less than the bare minimum in support. And David did just that. He didn't let the NCP's attorney get away with weak arguments and baseless claims. He fought tooth and nail to win everything we were asking for. And we won on every point! I recommend Attorney David Sebastian to anyone who needs a family law attorney. He deserves 100 gold stars! ...but here I can only choose 5.
