Goldie Greenstein

I am the founder and Managing Attorney of Gold Path Tax, a tax controversy and tax resolution law firm that helps U.S. taxpayers in all 50 states and worldwide with federal and state tax matters. In addition to providing clients with audit defense and appeals, resolution of unpaid and/or unfiled taxes, tax debt relief (such as Offer in Compromise, installment plan/payment plan, release of liens and levies, and penalty abatement, including appeals), and crypto currency compliance services, I have particular expertise in international tax law compliance for U.S. taxpayers who receive incomes or own assets outside the United States and are subject to FATCA and FBAR reporting.

I have represented hundreds of clients before agents, examiners, and officers of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in both civil and criminal cases, and have successfully litigated on behalf of clients in U.S. Tax Court. I have also represented clients in dozens of civil cases before state tax authorities in California, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Oregon, and New Mexico, among others, winning them Offers in Compromise and favorable payment plans. 

I was born and raised in Metro Detroit. I earned my bachelor's degree in economics at Oberlin College in Ohio and my law degree at Temple University in Philadelphia. Prior to law school, I served as a volunteer overseas in the Peace Corps.
