Both of my parents died within a year of each other. I was a lost soul and knew nothing about legal matters, estate laws, taxes and human nature it turned out. I lacked an authority figure. Prior to meeting Ed and Paralegal Cara, I was muddling along with no knowledge of anything required of me. My parents' house and car went uninsured for three months because I did not know that I was to notify the insurance company of their deaths. None of the business part matters much. I was treated like a relative. This firm demonstrates kindness, loyalty and honesty and manages to suspend incredulous thoughts about their client's ignorance. I learned a lot as Ed and Cara painstakingly explained every minor detail of Michigan law to a rather naive client. I will not tolerate lawyer jokes, not that I ever did really. Pugh, Moak will always be my attorney group. I miss them all as people when I don't see them. When I speak to Cara or Ed on the phone, truly it does feel as if I am home. They have become my friends. When legal issues are dealt with, anyone will find superior intellect and honesty. Ed recently answered an email from me whilst on vacation! I felt bad as I didn't think he would get the message until the following Monday. This man works hard even when he's playing.
