Patterson Justice Counsel, PLLC has one mission: use the full force of the law to break down barriers and advance justice.
Historically, the legal system has been weaponized as a tool of intimidation against people perceived as powerless and undeserving of the full respect inherent of humanity. The nation’s systems and laws were not applied consistently, equally, and equitably to everyone, but were instead used as a tool of oppression and suppression. These same laws and systems can be used as tools of liberation. The fight to maintain injustice can be dismantled with a fight to institute justice.
Our mission ensures that the court system remains a public institution, belonging to everyone, and one that should distribute justice and preserve the interests and well-being of the people at its core. As such, Patterson Justice Counsel believes the law is best used to serve individuals and put their needs and interests above all else.
