I'm a federal criminal defense attorney and former Assistant U.S. Attorney with over 23 years of experience inside federal courtrooms.

I spent more than two decades in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan, where I prosecuted some of the most complex and high-profile cases in the region—including public corruption, wire fraud, RICO, conspiracy, and white-collar crime. I was the lead prosecutor in the conviction of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, resulting in a 28-year prison sentence and national attention.
