Kristina Wilson

I opened my own law firm in September 2015 to help clients with their business and employment needs. My services range from estate planning to drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating business contracts. These contracts include agreements of all kinds including publishing, talent, employment, agency, sponsorship, land usage and endorsement agreements. My clients ranges from individual professional athletes to corporations and small businesses.

Prior to starting my firm, I was the Community Relations and Event Services Associate for the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix through my host company Penske Corporation. I was also a Year Three Challenge Detroit Fellow. For the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, I used my marketing and promotions experience to increase the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix's interaction and awareness in the Metro Detroit community. As a licensed Attorney, I worked directly with Senior Legal Counsel at Penske Corporation to draft, negotiate and implement contracts with our sponsors, clients and vendors. For Challenge Detroit, I used my marketing, business and legal knowledge to participate in intellectually based team challenge projects in partnership with area non-profits designed to positively impact the city and region. I also participated in a leadership program with a focus on innovation and social impact while positively influencing perceptions of Detroit through social media and blogging.

While I attended law school, I honed my legal research, legal writing, and oral presentation skills earning a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in Advocacy. I took coursework in Employment Law, Antitrust Law and Negotiation and received a certificate in Advocacy. I have seven years of prior experience in marketing and promotions working for Palace Sports and Entertainment, CBS Sports, and Bowling Green State University. I also have four years of contract experience working with Intersport Inc. and Salvi Sport Enterprises.

I have a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Development from Bowling Green State University.
