George T. Fishback

George Fishback is an active trial attorney with 42 years experience litigating serious/catastrophic Personal Injury and Wrongful Death cases. Since becoming a lawyer in 1979, he has successfully handled thousands of cases, with many multi-million dollar recoveries. Mr. Fishback is admitted to practice law in Michigan and has handled and tried cases in many of the counties in this state. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts in New York, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Texas. He has served as a court-appointed mediator in Wayne, Genesee, Huron and Macomb counties. He has made numerous professional presentations on the subjects of construction site accidents and maritime law.

Mr. Fishback has specialized in the representation of working people injured in on-the-job accidents. He has represented skilled building tradesmen from almost every craft and trade, who have been injured in construction accidents. This includes steel workers, carpenters, millwrights, bricklayers, masons, boilermakers, iron workers, operating engineers, electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, sheet metal workers, roofers and laborers.

He has also specialized in Admiralty and Maritime law and has represented numerous Jones Act seamen, sailors, longshoremen, dock workers and other maritime workers.
