Mr. Roberts is the managing attorney of Scott F. Roberts Law, PLC, a boutique Detroit-bassed business law firm primarily representing Michigan Medical Marijuana businesses. The firm assists Michigan Marijuana businesses with permitting and compliance under the state's facility licensing laws, formations and startups, municipal licensing, real estate acquisition, investment structuring, and contracting.
Mr. Roberts grew up in the Detroit area and is a third generation Michigander. After graduating with honors from the University of Miami, he worked for one of Detroit's top law firms. In the four years he worked for one of the "big law" firms, he worked on matters for large multi-national corporations, along with over a hundred small to medium sized businesses and individuals.
In 2014, Mr. Roberts left his old firm to start Scott F. Roberts Law in order to represent local businesses and individuals. His passionate, client-centered approach is perfect for closely held businesses, non-profit entities, and local individuals. Due to the high demand for client-centric services, Mr. Roberts recently expanded his law firm to add a paralegal and associate business attorney. While Scott F.
