I have served as a case evaluator (plaintiff representative) for the Wayne County Mediation Tribunal since 1985 and have been on its employment panel since it was created. I have been a speaker for the ICLE (Institute of Continuing Legal Education) and the Insurance Law Section of the American Bar Association on the subject of wrongful discharge. I have litigated employment cases in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, Florida, South Carolina, California and Nebraska. and have argued in the 6th, 3rd, and 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. I along with my partner Rudy Huizenga have litigated several group actions under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and lobbied Congress for the passage of the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (OWBA)..
