I was very indecisive as to what to do, even though I thought I might manage to get thru it, after talking to Mr Firebaugh and going thru the ongoing cost and trying everything including reduced payments and less interest on my credit cards it became very apparent the only way was to file bankruptcy... and get on with my life. Even though I considered it a last resort but now a few years later I have my credit score back up to 750 and have higher limit credit cards and was able to help my 3 kids with their college costs, if I did not file bankruptcy when I did I would not have been able to help them out.
