Mr. Smith represented my husband and started out as a court appointed attorney. I found him to be pleasant, understanding of our needs, and quite knowledgeable. I later hired him again for my husbands parole assistance. He is currently working on this for me and goes out of the way to return my ca...lls, and works very hard to assist my husband. If I ever need an attorney I would definitely hire him again. He goes out of his way to help his clients and is very caring. I feel completely confident that he will get the job done and has put my concerns to rest. He is an outstanding, very professional attorney who looks out for his clients! He has done a fantastic job for us.

This guy worked a plea for my son (court ap) that's 2 x longer than the PSI recommended. He couldn't provide file in it's entirety. His office has little to no resources for even a photocopy. He claims that he does not have his copy of the PSI. I guess safe to say unorganized. Moved very slowly, mon...ths of postponements. Very little contact with my son in jail. Would not cooperate with family members that had questions/concerns. Maybe he really didn't know the answers. Always late for court and never informed my son of what was going on. Poor communications skills and does not return calls. I was trying to teach my son a lesson by not bailing him out with an experienced private attorney. I learned the lesson. Mr. Smith works all these court appointed cases for a reason. I wouldn't recommend him for anyone at all for any reason whatsoever.

Mr. Smith started as a wonderful attorney. I was referred to him through Prepaid Legal Services. He attended court on my behalf a few times and was great! Some mistake (him over looking important custody issues) happened and resulted in my custody order being changed in ways that were only beneficial... to the other parent. Since the "mistake" in may 2012, Smith has refused to return my calls, return the calls of the service I retained him through, or send me a financial statement. At this point I have no attorney and pretty sure he still has some of my money. I would NEVER recommend someone who lacks ethics.
