I spoke with Attorney Persiconi and she referred me to Attorney Miles regarding retaliation & discrimination from my landlord. She said that he’s really good and could assist me with this especially since I have evidence to prove the retaliation. On 9/11/2024, he called me and left a voicemail. I ...followed up. So since then I sent him requested documents that he needed. He sent information regarding how the landlord can renew my lease. But Michigan has laws that it can’t only if it based on retaliation and discrimination. I sent him info on that. I told him that I can prove what the Landlord threaten to do to me on July 23,2024. On 9/13 at 3:12 pm, he told me to email that to him along with other documentation of the complaints I filed against the Landlord through the City of Detroit and Fairhousing of Metropolitan Detroit, etc. He said that he will look at it and call me the following Monday. He never did I left message with him om 9/17/2024 I left messages for him with the Paralegal on 9/18/24 at 12:47 pm I also sent him a final email, but no follow up. He mislead me or just don’t care about discrimination and retaliation as he professed had did. I felt like he was like my last and only hope. He indicated he would assist me and Review the material I emailed him. But no follow up. As an Attorney, he mislead me by promising to help me. I did email the head Partner, Robert S. Mullen, Senior Partner for Liberty Property Legal PLLC of the firm about this, but no follow up or response.
