Worst lawyer ever!

David Dart is the worst lawyer ever. All he wants is your money. Submitting wrong paperwork to counsel, His attitude was very bad. Find someone else if you want a good divorce lawyer. I paid him over 5,000 and he withdrew from my case in the middle of a mediation process. He’s worthless!

This review is false, misleading and inaccurate. It should be taken down. A review of the public file in this matter shows the reason why Mr. Dart withdrew from representation. Written filings in this case allege that Mr. Dart was provided forged documentation from his client. This documentation was submitted by Mr. Dart. A lawyer must take corrective action when his or her services are used improperly. The actions in this case created an ethical dilemma. Mr. Dart was forced to consult with ethics counsel from the Michigan State Bar in order to address this situation. This was a highly contested case requiring a great deal of discovery and extensive motion practice. The public record contains other relevant material about this individual that will not be included in this response. This individual was very pleased with Mr. Dart's services prior to this incident and is clearly upset that representation was terminated by Mr. Dart's office. Mr. Dart does not enjoy criticizing the conduct of his client. Nonetheless, the public needs to know that this situation was created by this individual and not by any short comings in the services provided by David J. Dart, PC.

Wish I had hired him

I wish I could have hired Mr. Dart when I got divorced, but he was probably still in school back then. But I wanted to leave him a glowing recommendation for the fantastic job he has done for my daughter. He has represented her efficiently and thoroughly. I can’t say enough good about his performanc...e.

A big mistake to trust this guy with something so important

I was not satisfied with him at all. We did most of the leg work and he used up the full retainer on one court case. he sent a list of things we were charged for that was outrageous fees. He did and said very little for our side when it came down to the actual court hearing. I would not recommend... him to anyone. I thought spending a lot of money would buy a good lawyer but was wrong in this case. I do have to say he has a nice office and a nice suit. We have found a much better lawyer who is willing to fight harder for less money in the same area. Next time I will do more research before hiring a lawyer. Glad I found this site.

He did nothing for the case

Horrible lawyer. I did all the work and he came to court with nothing. Only reason I didn't owe as much as they were trying to get me for in support was because of all the work put in by me. You are better off finding someone else or representing yourself than to hire him. I told my friends looking f...or a lawyer, not to hire him unless they want to lose.

This is a completely anonymous post. This does not accurately describe any case I have recently been involved in. As such, I firmly believe this is erroneous and/or outright false information. I do not know who this alleged client is and I have reviewed my files in detail. If this person will identify themselves I will be happy to address this complaint in detail. Until this occurs, I strongly believe this was written by a non-client individual who is upset with me for other reasons. Unfortunately in this business people do get angry with you.

Experienced Family Law Attorney

Mr. Dart and his staff were experienced and kind and handled my case with true professionalism. His office was able to help me obtain custody of my child and insure his safety during a very difficult time. I am most grateful to his office and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs someone wi...th experience to fight for them and their child.
