Richard J. Corriveau

I was a client of Richards. He talked a very big game when I first met with. I was apprehensive to hire him due to what appeared to be a declining mentation. But I was desperate for help so I hired him. Richard was very forgetful. He did not use a computer. Any time I had a question I had to mak...e an appointment which was billed at 350$ an hour. 2 of the 3 legal assistants were rude and not helpful. I spent 8 months with Richard and nothing was resolved with my case. He gave me very bad advice, which I found out after retaining new council. Richard repeatedly threatened to "fire" me. He violated the attorney client relationship. His daughter meddled in my case and would share personal information (we live in a very small city) with acquaintances. Richard violated my trust. He let me down. I spent a lot of money with him and felt that I did not recieve services I needed. I think Richard is way out of his prime and should consider retiring. He has to be close to 80 years old and it is showing in his work. I would not recommend him.
