Do your research, make sure you are getting recent interactions from people! She is not like she used to be!!!

Terri did not prep clients prior to court with what would be best in their case, the exact opposite by telling u what she would do for the other client. You hire a laywer for their expertise to guide you...this will not happen in this office. Terri’s office did not draw up documents for case rather... let the other parties lawyer do and never reviewed - when something huge was missed blamed it on me as the client for not reviewing document and catching the problem....this is what you are paying for as a client!! Forgets about your case and situation. Not competent in giving the best situational results in divorce case or advising Terri does not make herself avail for calls or emails rather goes thru office staff yet charges you lawyer fees. If u think u will talk to her personally during your case it won’t happen but will 10 mins before court I hired her originally bc I heard she was one of Monroe’s best .... that must have been in her early yrs of her profession but diffidently not now! Younger secretary in the office is very rude and unprofessional!

Amazing Attorney

I contacted Terri after three separate people recommended her after I made the decision to divorce. Divorce is obviously never easy or something anyone wants to go through but Terri removed a lot of the stress of this situation. She is confident which in turn raised my confidence level. Just because ...someone is an attorney doesn’t mean they know everything about the law. Well, Terri I believe does know every single thing, especially in my case involving government pensions, TSP’s, military disability, etc. Over the long run, Terri and her team saved me so much money that I was initially expecting to pay due to my lack of knowledge about law. I am much happier after my divorce and so very glad that Terri was on my side. I don’t want to imagine her being against me. Thank you for everything!!!

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
