Counsel with integrity and then Lawyer

He is very passionate about administration and delivery of justice beyond what might seem normal, and more importantly is a fine human being and lawyer in action beyond dressing and words. He starts as a Counsel, is a straight shooter and asks all the hard questions, shows the hard path and under pr...omises as though you are hiring him for your opponent. But then when the actual proceedings start, he transforms from a Counsel to an Attorney and surprises with his strategies and arguments in the courtroom to ensure the best interests of his client. He is very busy shifting between clients, yet surprises with his acumen and memory of the facts and specifics of the case. I hired him on 2 occasions (Criminal & Family) and on both occasions I admire him putting the client's interests over $ for himself and that by itself exhibited his personality - a rare trait in any profession. Interestingly when I was first referred to him by a lawyer in another county - that's what I was told to expect of him. And you can see the same respect for him in the court room from the court officer, to the judge, the clerks, etc. Goes on a first name basis with all of them, perhaps because of his number of years of experience. I would recommend him strongly along with a caveat that - do not let his straight shooting and under-promising underwhelm you, it is likely in your interests and will likely deliver the best possible results. 30+ years of experience with such reputation and continuing passion is rare. (I hope I won't need lawyers again, but if I need one, I know where to go.)

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
