Prior to meeting Melissa, I was in desperate need of support from my bankbruptcy attorneys. I had retired early from my job due to medical reasons and my SS didn't begin until 5 months later. I tried to explain the financial issues to my attorneys: I emailed both of them and tried to contact t...hem on the phone. My calls were not once answered or returned. Neither were the several (rather desparate ) emails I sent to both, explaining the changes in my circumstances and that I was unable to pay the Court until I received my retroactive Social Security payments. After 60 days with no contact from them, I called the trustee's office , discussed my situation and was sent a listing of attorneys in my area. My appointment was scheduled within a couple of days of my initial call, my prior case notes were discussed with me and my options on how best to proceed were carefully explained. After followup calls and appointments with Melissa, my case was reviewed by the Court. Bottom line: My case issues were all resolved and Melissa also negotiated more affordable monthly payments due to my retirement and reduced income. I cannot praise her efforts and support enough!
