Kayleigh Summerville (Burden) brings both skill and heart to her work, where she advocates for individuals and families affected by auto, motorcycle, and trucking accidents, as well as those enduring the loss of a loved one in wrongful death cases. Licensed in both Ohio and Michigan, Kayleigh has been dedicated to helping clients find justice and peace of mind since 2017.
Along the way, she discovered what she loves most: standing beside people during some of the toughest moments of their lives and helping them find justice.
Beyond her work with clients, Kayleigh is deeply involved in the local legal community. She serves on the Executive Board of the Lucas County Bar Association, is the Social Chair for the Toledo Women’s Bar Association, and proudly sits on the University of Toledo College of Law Alumni Affiliate Board. She enjoys mentoring new attorneys and teaches a Personal Injury Practice Simulation course as a Lecturer of Law at the University of Toledo College of Law.
A native of southeast Michigan, Kayleigh is a proud alumna of Madonna University and the University of Toledo College of Law. Her and her husband are raising their family in Bedford Township, Michigan—where you can often find them eating dinner at Mason Jar Tap & Grill or attending services and events at Bedford Alliance Church. When she’s not in the office, volunteering, or chasing around her small children, you’ll find Kayleigh traveling, camping, or locked in a friendly (but fierce) game of euchre — and yes, she plays to win.

Kayleigh Burden was a tremendous help. After someone decided to file a meritless claim against my small business, Ms. Burden immediately took my case and actually advocated on my behalf. She is a true fighter and ended up getting the lawsuit dismissed entirely. If anything comes up, I will be coming ...
"I worked under Kayleigh as an intern. She taught me how to work with clients in many areas of law, and how to address each individuals circumstances. I highly suggest anyone that wants an extraordinary attorney, who is knowledgeable in many areas of law, to contact Kayleigh."
