Daniel Makled

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dan Makled went into business with his father, who owned a number of small businesses in the city of Detroit. These businesses included car washes and collision shops among others. When Dan turned 29, after working in his family’s businesses for years, he began feeling as though the work he was doing was not fulfilling or gratifying in the way he wanted it to be. Dan knew he wanted to pursue a field that allowed him to feel as though he was serving a higher purpose. Dan decided he could make a difference in the legal field and returned to law school at thirty years old, graduating near the top of his class.

Since graduating from law school, Dan has helped many people who were victims of negligence; he loves what he does and considers going to law school the best decision of his life. One of Dan’s favorite parts of the legal process is the one-on-one conversations he has with his clients. Listening to a client’s story, Dan becomes a trusted family friend, rather than just a lawyer. He finds these relationships extremely gratifying, particularly when he secures a full, fair settlement that the insurance company had been delaying or denying.
