Demetrio Sunga Timban

Residing in Troy, Michigan,  Demetrio Timban serves Metro Detroit area clients’ diverse transactional and litigation needs. His areas of knowledge span corporate matters, health care law, immigration and real estate disputes, and he has extensive experience in negotiation and arbitration. Demetrio Timban maintains admission to practice in Michigan, New York and the Eastern and Southern District Courts of New York and is affiliated with the American Immigration Lawyers Association as well as the American Health Lawyers Association.  As part of a personal commitment to handling immigrant issues, he has undertaken volunteer work through the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. Mr. Timban earned his juris doctor at Boston University School of Law, where he was active in the Stone Moot Court as advisor and judge. He has also completed business management studies through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. His professional experience includes five years spent with the City of New York’s Finance Department in the Adjudications Division as managing administrative law judge.
