I would absolutely recommend Heather to anyone who feels hopeless with their tax debt. I've been there. I had big tax problems. Problems that I had tried to solve by contacting two very large "tax help" firms. The first firm took almost ten thousand dollars of my money, then submitted an offer ...in compromise (OIC) that (I believe) they knew would be rejected. The second told me that an OIC was not a possibility for me and attempted to set me up on an outrageous payment plan (that I couldn't afford). So, I found myself in the same hopeless situation, only now about 12 grand more in debt. I was still getting threatening calls and mail from the IRS. I had no hope and nowhere to turn for advice or assistance. In comes Calvary! A friend told me to contact Heather. Immediately upon hearing my case and my struggles, I was met with empathy and confidence that I had not seen before. Heather was very professional and confident that we would solve this problem and come away with the best solution for me. She reviewed all of my information and advised me (again, with confidence) that we could submit an OIC and it would have a good chance of being approved. I would like to say I was skeptical at this time, but honestly, she made me feel very comfortable with her capabilities. Heather immediately stopped the harassing phone calls and threatening mail. She prepared all of the documentation and assisted me with every step of the process. Heather always answered or returned my calls and emails in a timely manner and always knew the answers to my (sometimes stupid) questions. When I called or emailed, Heather responded; not an assistant or secretary. Heather stayed in contact with me (and more importantly, the IRS) during the entire process. I received a call yesterday, from Heather, telling me that my offer in compromise was approved!! I'll be done with this situation and moving on with my life very soon....thanks to Heather! Several years ago when I contacted Heather I was in a desperate situation. I was barely able to keep the IRS at bay and the State had already garnished my check. Heather was a God send for me. She negotiated with both the Federal and State on my taxes and was able to establish an installment plan ...that I could afford to pay and afford to live. Before that, I felt like I was in a sinkhole and would never get out. I'm proud to say that with Heather's help, I no longer owe the gov't every year on my returns. I now have refunds that are being applied toward my tax debt and eventually I will be out of debt to the govt. I could have never accomplished this much without Heather's help. Tax wise, I was a disaster thanks to my ex-wife, and my own stupidity. Thankfully, Heather saved the day. In 2005 through 2009 I was employed with a company based out of Virginia. In 2007 the company had fallen behind on their federal employment taxes exceeding $1M. In 2008-2009 I had a surgery that went awry and spent 43 days in ICU and had 18 follow-up surgeries. During this time the company had convin...ced the IRS to hold me as a liable party for over $500,000 in back taxes for the company debt. To my surprise I received a letter from the IRS stating that I was indeed a responsible party.
